Greetings! Thank you for visiting our new shopping site and the expansion of our LavishlyHip stores.
With the launch of our own shopping site, I wanted to share how LavishlyHip started, my inspirations and our business philosophy.
Having always been a lover of beautiful accessories and belief that one should invest in quality, simpler clothing, and make one’s own style by adding jewelry and accessories. My initial career was in Corporate America at Dow Jones/The Wall Street Journal and was lucky to travel the world. I learned to appreciate the workmanship and creativity from designers with various backgrounds around the globe, which allowed my jewelry wardrobe to grow.
After leaving Dow Jones, I traveled and spent time with family for a couple of years. When I decided to return to work, I wanted to do something different from my comfort zone. I attended a New York accessory show with my dearest friend, who owns a boutique in Florida and her daughter, my goddaughter. While walking the show floor – viewing hundred’s of different designers, I got an epiphany!! I would combine my love of jewelry and appreciation for the digital world to create online stores on established marketplaces. Having lived in large, urban centers and smaller cities, I know there is a need to offer contemporary and classic designer lines that are, generally, only available to those living in metropolitan cities. My vision was to bring those designers to those that shop online!
LavishlyHip was born!
Over the last 7 years, LavishlyHip is lucky to have built long-term relationships with our designers. We enjoy visiting with our designer’s account execs at shows and in their showrooms, hearing their long-term creative plans, and selecting new collection pieces. We are proud to be a long-term, authorized retailer for Kendra Scott, Chan Luu, Love Heals and Sheila Fajl, and have been for 7 years. We believe in engaging with designers that share our same philosophy that their employees and customers are the keys to their success.
LavishlyHip's business principles are searching for new, exciting designers; offering select pieces from our wonderful designers; offering great customer service by shipping customer's orders within 1 business day of receipt; and answering our customer’s inquiries within 1 day. The LH team (Ricki, Kate, Bea, Linda and Haley) wants every customer to feel like their order is a gift when they receive it. If there is any issue with an item, we welcome our customers to reach out to us immediately.
