It’s hard working in jewelry, it’s hard not to go home with every shiny new piece that comes into inventory. Our staff has narrowed it down to their absolute, can’t live without, favorites. Here they are:
Ricki loves the Simon Sebbag Layering Bangle Bracelet in Polished Sterling Silver. A classic, simple beauty made of high-quality sterling silver and finished in a high polish shine. She loves the versatility it offers, being able to wear on its own or layered with other bracelets. It’s simple enough to look great with a black leather band watch or can be dressed up with some of Simon’s natural stone bracelets.
Haley’s favorite is the Libi II in Dendrite Opal, Labradorite, and Rose Gold by New York-based design team ela rae. The look of natural stones in a subtle and petite necklace is what stands out to Haley about ela rae. The choker style is on trend and perfect for every day and the rose gold tone pairs well with both silver and gold jewelry, making this necklace perfect for layering.
Rika’s favorite piece is the Cloud and Chalk Dream Scarf from Blue Pacific. She loves this piece because its generous size and featherweight texture allow it to be the perfect accessory all year round, and the colors make it look soft and feminine. This scarf looks as good on a blustery New England winter day as it does during dinner at a beachside restaurant in the middle of the summer.
Mine is the Vela earrings by Jenny Bird (really every pair of earrings by Jenny Bird but I’m trying to practice self-control here) Jenny is a Canadian designer that has a really cool industrial and geometric style, outside of the studio she’s gardening or doing art with her son. I love how she combines her down to earth personality with her urban surroundings for jewelry that transcends just one style while remaining clean, versatile, and elegant. The Vela’s are perfect because they take a hoop and add just enough of something different to make people wonder where you got them.
